GlowMinder started with a simple frustration. Every product promises everything, every recommendation is written for nobody in particular, and the ingredient the internet is excited about this week is contraindicated for half the people being told to buy it. So you guess, you spend money, and sometimes your skin pays for it.
We built the app we wanted: one that looks at your actual skin, asks the questions that change the answer, and then tells you straight whether a product is worth your money before you spend it. The guidance behind it was designed with a dermatologist. The analysis and the routines are generated by AI, and we say so everywhere you read them, because a tool that hides that is a tool you cannot judge.
It will not replace a dermatologist, and it is not trying to. It is trying to make the ninety percent of skincare that never needed a clinic appointment considerably less stupid.

Specific beats generic
Twenty year old combination skin in Paris and thirty five year old dry skin in Casablanca are not the same problem. Every recommendation runs through your profile, your concerns, your climate, and what you already own.
Safety is a filter, not a warning label
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, acne medication, and age change what is safe for you. We keep those ingredients out of your routine in the first place instead of adding a disclaimer after you have bought the bottle.
Consistency beats intensity
The routine that works is the one you can keep. Actives are paced so your barrier holds, and the app is built around a few small things a day rather than a twelve step ritual you abandon in week two.
Your face is not our asset
Skin photos go to an AI provider for analysis and are not stored by us. We keep the result, not the picture, and we never train models on it.
