Terms of service

GlowMinder is published and operated by Twozed Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 12329369), Office 12 Initial Business Centre, Wilson Business Park, Manchester M40 8WN, United Kingdom(“we”, “us”). These terms cover the GlowMinder mobile app and the website at glowminder.app.

By opening the app or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use GlowMinder.

GlowMinder analyses photos of your skin, checks skincare products against your profile, and generates a personalised routine. The underlying guidance is built with a dermatologist; the individual outputs you see are generated by artificial intelligence from what you tell us and what your photos show.

There is no account to create. The app gives your device an anonymous identity and your data is tied to it. See our privacy policy for what that means in practice.

You must be at least 13 years old. Where the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this or for consenting to the processing described in our privacy policy, that higher age applies to you.

You are responsible for the device your GlowMinder identity lives on. Anyone with access to your unlocked device has access to your profile, so treat it accordingly.

You agree not to:

• upload photos of anyone who has not agreed to it, or any image you do not have the right to share;
• upload unlawful, abusive, or sexual content, or use the app to harass or harm anyone;
• use the AI features for anything other than skincare and wellness, including trying to make the assistant produce unrelated content;
• attempt to get around usage limits, cost controls, or the safety filtering built into the app;
• scrape, bulk extract, or resell our content, product data, or reference catalogue;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or our servers, or probe them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• present GlowMinder output as professional medical advice to anybody else.

We may limit, suspend, or end access for anyone who breaks these rules, and we may apply usage quotas to keep the service running for everyone.

When paid plans do launch, this section will be replaced with the real terms before anything is sold, and those terms will cover at least the price and billing period, what the plan includes, how renewal works, and how to cancel. The following will apply:

• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their own terms, and are managed and cancelled through your store account rather than by us.
• Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policy. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
• We will never start charging you for something you already have without telling you first.

The photos, answers, and notes you put into GlowMinder remain yours. You give us the permission we need to process them in order to run the service for you, which is exactly what our privacy policy describes and nothing more. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not licence it to anyone.

The GlowMinder name, logo, app, website, design, reference data, and copy are ours and stay ours. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

We work to keep GlowMinder running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults. Features can change or be withdrawn, AI providers can fail or be rate limited, and we may take the service down for maintenance. GlowMinder needs an internet connection for scans, product checks, routine generation, and chat.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, GlowMinder is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we give no warranty that the app, its analyses, its product verdicts, or its routines are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose;
• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, goodwill, or data;
• we are not liable for any skin reaction, adverse effect, or other harm arising from a product you chose to buy or use, or a supplement you chose to take, whether or not GlowMinder mentioned it. Skincare is personal and reactions happen. Patch test, read labels, and see a professional when something goes wrong.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims connected with GlowMinder is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. While the app is free, that amount is zero.

You can stop using GlowMinder at any time, and you can erase everything we hold by opening the app, going to Me, and choosing Delete account. That is immediate and cannot be undone. Deleting the app on its own removes the data stored on your device.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give notice first.

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, in particular anything about paid plans or liability, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use GlowMinder after that means you accept the new terms.

If something goes wrong, contact us first at legal@glowminder.app. Almost everything is faster to fix that way, and we will make a genuine effort to resolve it with you before anyone involves a court.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved between us. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
