Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the GlowMinder app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

2. Description

GlowMinder provides a personalised skincare and wellness routine generated from the information you supply, processed in part by third-party AI providers, and accessed via our mobile app and website.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service; some markets require a higher age, in which case the higher local minimum applies.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use GlowMinder to: harass or harm others, attempt to extract source data, reverse engineer the app, abuse our AI features to generate content unrelated to skincare, or circumvent rate limits and pricing.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier: includes a basic routine and limited AI usage per period.
• Premium: sold via the Apple App Store, Google Play, or directly on the web. Billed monthly or yearly. Renews automatically until cancelled.
• Cancellation: takes effect at the end of the current billing period via the same channel you purchased (App Store, Play Store, or web). You keep premium access until then.
• Refunds: handled by the platform you bought through (Apple, Google) per their policy. For direct web purchases, refunds are at our discretion within 14 days of purchase if you have not used premium features.

6. Intellectual property

The GlowMinder name, logo, app, website, and content are ours. You retain ownership of the data you submit. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process that data to operate the service for you.

7. Medical disclaimer

GlowMinder provides general skincare and wellness guidance based on user input and AI analysis. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dermatological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in this app.

8. AI-generated content

Recommendations in GlowMinder are generated by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. They may contain errors. Use your judgement and consult professionals for important decisions, especially anything safety-critical.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowMinder is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (/delete-account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, with mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence preserved. Disputes will first be addressed via good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, by the competent courts.
